Mission

Our purpose is to foster friendship, mutual trust and dynamic interaction between the peoples of Yerevan and Cambridge as well as their neighboring regions; to build links between them, to promote public awareness of issues of mutual concern; and the appreciate and accommodate the various manifestations of diversity in these communities.

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

--Since 1997 have hosted Community Connections training programs funded by the US Dept. of State for Armenian professionals in diverse fields including business, education, environment, public health, tourism, employment, historic and cultural preservation. We have further assisted alumni with individual and group business and education projects in Armenia.

--Since 1994 have organized youth and teacher exchanges between Yerevan and Cambridge/Boston area high schools, funded through Sister Cities International and later the US Dept. of State

--Since 1994, have matched individual sponsors in the US with schools in Armenia in need of financial assistance for mostly infrastructure repairs. Over 100 schools have been helped. Also, major assistance has been given to one special village, Berd in the Tavoush region.
