nourish.NJ, formerly the Community Soup Kitchen & Outreach Center, creates lasting solutions to the problems of hunger, homelessness and poverty. We offer food, housing, work readiness, medical, social and educational services 365 days a year in a warm, safe and caring environment, free of charge, no questions asked.

Hunger Relief and Outreach Assistance

nourish.NJ served 75,000 meals in 2021. We also provided social, medical and educational services to the working poor individuals and families, elderly, disabled and homeless population. We have helped house 85 homeless people and assisted 107 individuals find employment.

nourish.NJ provides nutritious breakfast and lunch 7 days a week, weekly farmers markets in 6 underserved locations, all free of charge to anyone in need of nourishment.Our free farmers markets are a way to provide fresh and healthy produce, vegetables, dairy, milk and eggs to families in underserved communities. We purchase all the food for distribution.
