What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

SCAN core programming

Each year, more than 700 seniors attend over 100 social education courses, which are offered during SCAN’s three semesters at our main Monmouth Mall Hub location, through our partnership with Boscov’s Campus Courses, and at our satellite location at the YMCA’s Community Center in Freehold.

Population(s) Served

This area includes our on-site TV studio and social media outreach. SCAN produces three TV shows each month at our on-site studio (Welcome to SCAN, Community Connections, and Career Corner) that reach a potential audience of 450,000 homes via Comcast, Cablevision and Fios networks. We also broadcast on our own YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/ScanMonmouthCounty) and promote all of our programs via our website and Facebook.

Population(s) Served

SCAN on Wheels was designed to deliver essential social and educational services in partnership with established community based organizations. Programs are offered on-site in local communities, thereby removing transportation as a barrier to participation.
