With so many recent studies outlining the myriad health benefits of meditation, mindfulness practices, yoga and Shinrin-yoku (forest therapy/forest bathing), RVC has continued to grow its offerings at White Lake as part of our "Choose Outdoors" programming. Aimed at stress reduction, our Forest Walk Meditation program provides
a free, 30-minute meditative walk through the forest of White Lake guided by a yoga instructor. Program emphasizes mindfulness and breathing techniques. This program was launched in 2017 with three walks. In 2018, we will offer one meditation walk a month from May-September for a total of five.
