Child Care Resources of Monmouth County, Inc.

Resource and Referral Services:
Evaluation of family needs, referrals to regulated care in Monmouth County, counseling for parents on choosing child care, and enhanced referrals available for businesses to purchase for employees. Resource Library includes a wide variety of books, videos, and publications about child care, early childhood education and related issues. Training and technical assistance program offers an annual conference, technical assistance for starting or expanding a child care program, and a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner health consultant coordinator.


Child Care Subsidy Programs:
Funded by the New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Family Development, Child Care Services administers child care subsidy programs for eligible working families in Monmouth County, including families participating in the Work First New Jersey Welfare Reform program.

Family Day Care Registration:
Recruit and register family day care providers, inspect and monitor family day care homes for appropriate care, safety and supervision of children, and sponsor the Child Care Food Program, ensuring nutritionally balanced meals to children in Family Day Care.
