The Foundation offers a quarterly newsletter, which is currently distributed to about 10,000. The organization's website -- www.cjsids.org -- is visited by about 20,000 families every month. The site provides the latest information, research and developments in the SIDS community.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our goal is to eradicate sudden and unexplained death in infants by funding medical research and the education of safe sleep practices. in the interim, provide support services to families who have suffered this inexplicable tragedy.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
To provide grants for medical and scientific research. To provide grants throughout the United States so that parents and caregivers are educated about infant safe sleep practices and to ensure that parents are provided the proper resources when a sudden infant death occurs.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
The CJ Foundation for SIDS conducts fundraisers throughout the US to provide the financial support needed to fund the grants it provides. The Foundation also does several direct mail appeals to attain donors who help us support our mission.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Since the CJ Foundation was founded in 1994, SIDS deaths in the United States have declined over 40%.
