What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

It's a matter of life or death for many. A person can live without food for 30-40 days, water 3 days, but a person cannot live without hope. That's what we do.We supply hope and care for a lost and hurting world. Everything we do is designed so that people know God and through that, they know love. Therefore, we are working to address tangible ways to show that people are loved. This includes opening up our building to those in the community to host support groups like Narcotics Anonymous, Overeaters Anonymous, Girl Scouts, Mommy & Me Groups, Foster Care Support Group, and partnering with local organizations to help adults with special needs. In addition to opening our building, we stock a pantry with food and clothing for those in need. We host weekly small groups through our church programs to help connect with people on a personal level. In the near future, we plan to host workshops that will cover finances, marriage, parenting, and home buying. We want to be a church that matters.

Context Notes

The weekly membership of our Church allows us to do more or less with the resources we have. Ultimately, we are limited by time, so having more engaged members allows more opportunities.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Restoring the community, repairing families, fixing broken marriages, helping those who are struggling, being a light in the community.

Partnering with local professional organizations, being a hub of information, leveraging the church structure (small groups) to help people on a personal level, and creating an annual calendar to connect with the community.

We have a building that is paid off, we have prayer, and we have a God is who can move mountains. We also are building strong relationships with many local social support agencies and companies in the community to leverage resources and professionals to connect them with the hundreds of people who walk by our church building every week.

I started on December 1st so in 3 months, we have reinstated our Non-Profit Status, rebuilt 75% of our website, hosted 3 dinners for the community (80 people each), partnered with a local Wawa to provide food for those in need, reached out to several other organizations, working on launching 3 new support groups (Foster Parents, Mommy & Me, Partnering with Special Needs) this year, We are in the process of supporting and helping our current support groups that meet, all while branding our Church so that the community knows we are here.
