Population(s) Served

For over 20 years ABC has successfully administered HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) entitlement funding for the City of Allentown in Lehigh County. ABC uses HOME program funding to acquire and rehabilitate vacant, blighted properties for subsequent sale or rental to low-to-moderate income qualified households as dictated by HUD. ABC bids the rehabilitation work to contractors, selects the lowest responsible bidder and oversees the rehabilitation to ensure that all properties are brought up to code compliance to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing options for City of Allentown households. ABC provides all necessary supporting documentation as requested by the City and/or HUD for any activity undertaken with this funding.
