What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Early Learning and School Age Programs
We provide high-quality early learning and school age programs for children as young as 6 weeks and up to grade 2.
The Early Learning Program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and has a four-star rating from Pennsylvania’s Keystone STARS child care quality assurance system.
PIC provides early care and education for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. We have both single- and mixed-age classrooms.
Our child-centered curriculum is based on everyday experiences and interests as children learn through play. Each day, children have time for active investigation, observation, and discussion.
Due to the impact of COVID-19 on the current school year, PIC school age programming has adjusted to a full day school support program. This September we will offer full-day school day support for kindergartners, and 1st and 2nd graders.
Like any program at PIC, children will be guided during the school day by experienced and professional educators who understand the care that children need and who will support social-emotional development, which is even more critical during today’s challenges.
