The Hepatitis B Foundation is working to find a cure for Hepatitis B as well as to improve the quality of life for those affected by hepatitis B worldwide.
Our programs

Information and Referral Services
Through website, email, social media and telephone consultations we are able to connect with Hepatitis B patients around the world to answer questions, provide real time solutions and recommend physical locations they can access resources.
#justB Storytelling Program
#justB is a storytelling program featured on the Hepatitis B Foundation's website and newsletters that tells hepatitis B patients' journeys around the country. This stories share how hepatitis B has impacted their lives in order to improve hepatitis B awareness and testing, decrease stigma and discrimination.
Hep B United
Hep B United is a national coalition that supports local community coalitions across the U.S. to increase hepatitis B awareness, screening, vaccination and linkage to care for high-risk communities that are disproportionately impacted.
Hep B United Philadelphia
Hep B United Philadelphia is a coalition and public health awareness and education campaign that raises the profile of hepatitis B and liver cancer as an urgent health priority; promotes hepatitis B testing and vaccination; and stimulates community engagement to reduce the local burden of hepatitis B in Philadelphia.
Hepatitis Delta Connect
Hep Delta Connect is a multi-platform program that uses interactive web-based technology and social media channels to increase public awareness about hepatitis D, serve as a resource for information and support to patients and providers, and increase hepatitis D screening rates in high-risk populations.
Liver Cancer Connect
Liver Cancer Connect provides comprehensive and patient-focused resources for patients, including risk factors liver cancer, the importance of screening and surveillance, information for newly diagnosed, treatment options and clinical trials, and a physician directory.
Science Education and Training Program
HBF provides formal training and education opportunities for high school, college, and graduate students, including laboratory and public health research training, and participation in seminars and journal club.
Gateway to Care
The Gateway to Care program uses a model of community and provider-based engagement to improve hepatitis B awareness, knowledge, screening and linkage to care in highly impacted regions.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our commitment includes funding focused research, promoting disease awareness, supporting immunization and treatment initiatives, and serving as the primary source of information for patients and their families, the medical and scientific community, and the general public.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
The Hepatitis B Foundation is working on raising funds for research through campaigns and events. We are connected with the Blumberg Institute to work on research to cure Hepatitis B and Liver Cancer. We promote disease awareness, support immunization and treatment initiatives through public health events and advocacy. We work as public health educators by answering worldwide consults via telephone and email.
