Creating a Vibrant York County
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
1. Remove barriers to economic mobility so lower income people can build financial security. 2. Be the first people you call to discuss your charitable giving goals and how you can be part of community transformation. 3. Use a lens of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all of our work.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Philanthropy Services
The Fund for York County focuses resources on our community’s most pressing issues. Our new focus seeks to provide funding opportunities for programs and collaboratives that transform lives and our community by helping people thrive by building economic mobility for low-income individuals.
Our initial focus areas are: Housing, Career Development, Transportation, Childcare, Financial Education
The Community Foundation invests in the community by making grants to nonprofit organizations that have the highest likelihood of impacting our strategic focus areas.
YCCF offers support for the academic success of York County students through a variety of scholarships in connection with PA EITC Credit Program.
In addition to the wide range of grants directed by our donors, major foundation initiatives provide grants in the areas of early childhood education, post-secondary scholarships, local environmental issues, and community building.
