Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We are seeking to aid the needs of the people as God leads and directs our paths. For almost 50 years we have been instrumental in meeting needs of victims of world wide disasters and international feeding programs.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
As God leads by directing our hearts to the needs around us and shows us how He wants to interacting in the world today. He will provide funding and personnel to help Amigos meet these needs.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We have a big God, and a reputation for doing the impossible to provide for the needs around us.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We recently made the decision to build a mobile kitchen for the needy in Belize. Within a month, the $20,000 project was totally funded and the project will soon begin. We are setting a complete date of 60 days to ship it there.
We are developing "Operation Beaver" - a mobile kitchen on a pontoon plane that can quickly move into a disaster relief area and assess damage and provide food and medical assistance within hours of a disaster.
The sky is the limit...What God wants to accomplish, He and only He, will provide the needs to accomplish His work through us!

- We ask team members to identify racial disparities in their programs and / or portfolios.
- We employ non-traditional ways of gathering feedback on programs and trainings, which may include interviews, roundtables, and external reviews with/by community stakeholders.
- We help senior leadership understand how to be inclusive leaders with learning approaches that emphasize reflection, iteration, and adaptability.
- We engage everyone, from the board to staff levels of the organization, in race equity work and ensure that individuals understand their roles in creating culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
