Mission

The mission of HT is to inspire, nurture, enrich, empower, educate, entertain and challenge artists and audiences with theatrical productions that range from the classics to new works; we train and support the next generation of theatre artists; we provide arts education programs that promote life-long learning to a diverse community; and we celebrate the essential power of the theatre to illuminate our common humanity.

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

2022 Season

The five-show season will include a blend of comedies, dramas and musicals including a few lesser-known productions and ones rarely staged locally.
There will be a variety of additional events booked such as live music, staged readings by local playwrights, a development blue grass musical to name a few.
Pay what you can community events to be held such as Broadway Sing Along, movie nights, karaoke, comedy, and improv game nights.

    We have started a new play development program for local playwrights. This gives the actors in the community a place to showcase their talents without a huge commitment of time and allows the playwright to hear their words out loud. Feedback is taken from the actors and audience for the playwright to take away and use for further developent.
