Through this Center PROFAMILIA provides high quality services in comprehensive family planning and contraceptive alternatives aimed at preventing unintended pregnancy, STI and HIV prevention education and counseling, access to HIV rapid testing, Chlamydia and Gonorrhea screening, gynecological and case management services, cervical cancer screening, referrals for treatment, among other services. In addition, we provide a wide range of contraceptives methods, including: IUDs, oral contraceptives, female and male condoms, emergency contraception, three month injectable contraception (Depo provera), patches (Ortho Evra), vaginal ring (NuvaRing), as well as referrals for female voluntary sterilization.
The CCZ runs under PROFAMILIA's Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health Services Unit, which is supervised by the Program Director. The Medical Director oversees all quality assurance activities and clinical staff performance. The clinical personnel consist of four gynecologists, two Nurses, two clinical assistant clerks and one administrative assistant. The program and support staff includes the Program Coordinator, the Clinical Coordinator, three Pharmacists, three Pharmacy Technicians, one Case Manager and one Outreach Educator and Promoter. The Executive Director who reports to the Board of Directors of the Institution supervises the Program Director.
Currently, PROFAMILIA is a grantee agency with one Title X site and no delegates. Government and private donations support all other projects. The following projects are supported by public funds.

Since March 1993, the Entre Mujeres Project receives funds from the Women’s Advocate Office in Puerto Rico to provide free sexual and reproductive health services for women victims and survivors of domestic violence, gender based violence and sexual aggression. This project runs under the Sexual and Reproductive Health Services Unit and also provides education and outreach in shelters, homes and agencies that provide services to these women.

The Legislature of Puerto Rico (PR) and the PR Department of Family fund this project.
