Education and Training Services

ACNY's programs include an Education and Training Services (ETS) Program serving healthcare professionals. Our Community Outreach program offers a Speakers Bureau, general Helpline at 1-800-56-SOBER, a Parent/Teen Helpline at 1-866-755-ACNY and website (www.alcoholism.org). The Individual and Family Clinical Services department offers assessments, short-term counseling, interventions and referrals. The Drinking Driver Program provides a 7-week educational program addressing the attitudes and behaviors associated with intoxicated and impaired drivers. The Workplace Assistance Program establishes partnerships with organizations to address workplace issues related to alcohol and other drugs. Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and lastly, our Resource Center is a clearinghouse providing alcohol and drug-related literature, free of charge.
