What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Animal Shelter
The Animal Protective League's limited admission animal shelter adopts over 2,000 animals every year into loving homes. APL gives priority to animals that are sick or injured. All animals are given any necessary medical treatment, all age appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered and microchipped before adoption. In addition APL operates a pet food bank for those in the community who need help feeding their pets, discounted vaccination clinics, pet therapy programs to nursing homes, human education, and many volunteer opportunities.
Low Cost, High Quality Spay/Neuter
