Tuesday Toolmen
A volunteer group of retirees who spend one day a week building accessibility ramps and doing minor home safety repairs for seniors and persons with disabilities.
Tool Mobile
Tool lending library that supports community events, neighborhood clean ups and individuals working on home improvement projects.
HERO DIY Classes
Our HERO program provides a robust series of classes on DIY home improvement and financial literacy topics to increase homeownership stability and personal responsibility.
Home Renovation & Rehabilitation
GLHC renovates and rehabs houses each year, selling them to qualified buyers as part of our local commitment to improving and stabilizing neighborhoods, one house at a time.
Permanent Supportive Housing
GLHC provides supportive living opportunities to chronically homeless adults living with serious mental illness, chronically homeless adults and their families and low income seniors.
Housing Policy & Analysis
GLHC serves as Mid-Michigan's regional housing policy organization, coordinating academic studies on housing issues, providing expertise on a variety of matters including local zoning codes and working with local municipalities to develop policies.
