Clean Water & Wetland Protection

The Coalition works to protect Missouri's waters. We help develop clean water regulations, monitor pollution permits and defend Missouri waters in court.

MCE's clean energy and climate change program combines advocacy and
education to influence change. MCE promotes state policies that helps
Missouri transition from an over reliance on highly polluting coal to
clean, renewable energy. MCE also combats climate change by promoting
local action to decrease carbon dioxide emissions.

MCE works to advocate for proper oversight and cleanup of hazardous waste sites throughout the state of Missouri. We also work to ensure we are not creating new hazardous waste sites by advocating against the approval of new pollution creating facilities in Missouri.
