Ending Sexual Violence in Education (ESVE)

ERA’s Initiative to End Sexual Violence in Education helps students find support and seek justice when sexual assault or harassment threatens to disrupt their education. Through ESVE, we’ve launched the nation’s first pro bono network of volunteer attorneys to provide free legal support to student survivors of sexual assault and harassment. We’re also engaging student survivors as activists and spokespeople to raise awareness about Title IX and challenge rape culture in schools.

The Stronger CA Women's Agenda is a collaborative campaign of 50+ advocacy groups across the state, co-founded and chaired by ERA. Together, we drive innovative reforms to help Californian women and families combat poverty and build assets, achieve workplace justice and family-friendly workplaces, and expand access to affordable, quality child care. ERA leads the Agenda's workplace justice efforts, including reforms on fair pay and harassment that are setting the pace for the rest of the nation.

Equal Rights Advocates has been fighting for equal pay for 45 years at the state and federal levels across industries. We co-founded Equal Pay Today with partners across the US to close the wage gap, which especially harms women of color and low-paid workers. As Chair of this national initiative, we work in partnership with 20 of the country’s leading gender justice organizations to challenge the legal, policy, and cultural barriers that have allowed pay discrimination to persist.

The Women's Agenda Initiative is a collective impact project with sister organizations who share a vision for healthy and equitable workplaces & schools for women, girls, and gender-marginalized people. Together, we build a future of liberation & economic opportunity for everyone.

The Women’s Agenda Initiative connects policy advocates, policy makers, and community groups to transform the law and influence the progressive legislative process in 2020 and beyond. Tracking state level policy reform across the nation, we collaborate with coalitions and advocates in other states to build on wins and accelerate the pace of policy victories in more conservative states. This program includes a dynamic digital hub to share resources and build community among millions of advocates, legislators, and supporters; a State Policy Rapid Response Team of anti-harassment public policy experts supporting state and local initiatives via a range of partners across the country; and a Stop Harassment State Network bringing together advocates in every state propelling gender justice reforms at work and school.
