Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Their Future! Endowment Fund Campaign
One of the Alamo Heights School Foundation's responsibilities is to build an endowment to uphold the tradition of excellence within the Alamo Heights Independent School District.
Teacher Fund
The Teacher Fund exists to support the amazing teachers in the Alamo Heights Independent School Ditrict. The fund is supported through one-time gifts and recurring gifts through the Heroes for Heights and Mules Monthly Giving programs.
Reunite at Heights
Reunite at Heights is an annual Alumni and Hall of Fame Celebration. This all-class reunion is held in The Oaks, the new state-of-the-art cafeteria at Alamo Heights High School, where guests are greeted by AHHS spirit groups, the band, and JROTC. Student volunteers dedicate their time to help execute a memorable event for the community. Guests have time to peruse old yearbooks, reminisce with classmates, and browse the Alumni Store stocked with AH apparel. The event culminates with an open house of the high school, where alumni can revisit old classes on their trip down memory lane and hear from current students and teachers about the great things taking place at Heights.
Alamo Heights Hall of Fame
The Alamo Heights School Foundation Hall of Fame will be comprised of former students, faculty, administrators, and volunteers who have made significant achievements in many aspects of their lives. They have made selfless contributions of time, talent and treasure to their neighbors and community. If an AHISD teacher or administrator, they have made a positive and measurable impact on students and campus life far beyond their assigned duties. They are accomplished at the highest levels of their professions. Hall of Fame members have represented and fostered the ideals of giving and dedication to community, family, learning, and philanthropy. Awards may be given posthumously. These traits are the benchmarks by which the selection committee will evaluate each candidate in choosing the Hall of Fame honorees.
Greater Heights Night
Greater Heights Night is the Foundation's annual fundraising gala. We look forward to welcoming our ticketed guests to the Witte on November 2nd, 2022. General reception will begin at 6 pm. Dinner will begin at 7:15 pm followed by a program and live auction. The attire is dressy casual. Sponsorships are currently available, and general tickets, if made available, will go on sale on the foundation's website on Tuesday, September 6th.
