National Urban Fellows

14 Month Graduate Degree Program in Public Administration from Bernard M. Baruch College, School of Public Affairs.  The Fellowship combines 42 credits of academic work with a 9-month full-time Mentorship experience within the government, nonprofit, or philanthropic sectors.

National Urban Fellows supports its Alumni by providing programs to further the leadership potential of all graduates. Alumni participate in live events as well as on-line social networking opportunities, staying connected with a vast national peer network.
NUF graduates receive opportunities for executive leadership positions within the government and non-profit sectors — taking charge of their futures, to be the leadership for a changing America. Alumni give back by helping with candidate recruiting and screening, identifying mentors, mentoring and supporting annual fundraising efforts for National Urban Fellows. Alumni help to create an equitable and just society while serving as role models for future generations. National Urban Fellows is grateful to the following funders.

The NUF Talent Network will be an online community where professionals committed to public service sector leadership diversity will network, find skilled leaders, and search for and share leadership opportunities. More than a marketplace, the Network will work together to advance the goal of public service sector leadership diversity through knowledge sharing, awareness raising, and the growing access and influence of the Network.

Needs Addressed and Benefits to the Sector

The NUF Talent Network will be a professional community available anytime, anywhere. Thousands of alumni, stakeholders, employers, and supporters will be able to match their services with the needs of the public service sector while advancing their careers, the careers of others, and inclusive leadership.
