Preservation of Historic Winchester, Inc.

The Lunch and Learn and Walk and Learn lecture series are typically hour-long lectures presented on topics of use to preservationists, history enthusiasts, and those curious about maintaining and enjoying historic homes and buildings. The free events help to spread awareness of preservation issues or provide continuing education opportunities for amateurs to professionals in a variety of building and history related fields.

The Bough and Dough Shop is a boutique style holiday gift shop held in conjunction with the annual Holiday House Tour. The Shop is a local artisan-driven boutique showcasing the unique skills and talents of artists in the Shenandoah Valley region, with a special emphasis on traditional Valley crafts, unique artisan products, and holiday decor. The majority of our juried exhibitors are located in Winchester and Frederick County. Proceeds from consignment sales of artisan goods are used to support local historic preservation and to fund PHW’s operating expenses.
