West Valley Genealogical Society Library
West Valley Genealogical Society maintains the largest genealogical library in Arizona. It is a non-circulating, research library and is maintained entirely by unpaid volunteers and funded by membership dues and donations. Through forty-eight years of careful attention and dedicated efforts, WVGS has amassed an extensive collection of books, periodicals, microfilm rolls, microfiche, and maps. The WVGS Library is located in Youngtown, Arizona, which is a suburb of the western metropolitan Phoenix area. Its extensive collection supports local, national, and international genealogical research interests and receives an average of 4,000 visits each year.
