What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Scholarships

The Highline Community College Foundation receives most of its funding from contributions by both individuals and businesses. Each year an annual fund raising campaign is kicked off by sending out over 10,000 direct mail solicitations. The recipients include alumni, past donors, local business and community members, College staff & Foundation board member contacts. Much of what is received is put towards funding scholarships. A portion is also used to fund special College programs. Additional fund-raising activities are planned throughout the year such as the golf marathon & Christmas tree sales. Proceeds from events like these are also used to assist the college & its students.
