ACTION-Housing Inc.

ACTION-Housing operates over 15 distinct programs, each focused on the provision of decent, safe, and affordable housing. Crucial to the mission is our real-estate development team and our affiliate management company. We have developed over 3,500 units of affordable and supportive housing including units for people with disabilities, families, seniors, and people who are facing homelessness. Of those, we own and manage over 1,300 units. We are committed to high-quality design that creates a healthy environment inside and out. We developed the first Passive Houses in the region, and hope to see current ACTION-Housing developments certified as the first multi-family and commercial passive houses in the region. Passive House design cuts energy usage by about 80 percent. Additionally, we are looking to provide supportive housing for individuals with special needs, including young people aged out of the foster care system, veterans, and people with disabilities.
