Artsbridge Summer Leadership Development Institute

Artsbridge is about learning how to have difficult conversations. It is about dialogue - through words and through the arts. It is about giving people from communities in conflict the opportunity to see each other as human beings, and not as faceless enemies.

Artsbridge brings transformational change to young adults from communities in conflict. Our unique training model inspires future leaders to work creatively through their differences to develop innovative approaches to complex human problems.

We have developed and tested a unique method for developing leadership skills in teens and changing the way people approach conflict, moving people towards creative solutions that transcend differences.

Our flagship Summer Leadership Development program has impacted the lives of hundreds of Israeli, Palestinian, and American teens, teaching them how to work creatively across their differences and to develop innovative approaches to complex human problems. Empowered by their Artsbridge experience, students are able to appreciate the narrative of the "other" rather than maintaining the fear, hatred and mistrust that most have lived with their entire lives.

Beginning in 2018, Artsbridge expanded our reach beyond Israel and the Palestinian Authority to include students from throughout the United States, Central and South America and Sri Lanka, with the goal of adding other countries in the coming years.
