Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
UNITY is very effective with making every dollar we raise go as far as it can.
For instance.....a wish for Terri with breast cancer to attend Splash Lagoon in Erie PA, with 9 people with (2) 2 DAY passes and overnight accommodations. Total cost: $300.00-------Total Value: $800.00
Unity is very adept at making miracles come true, moving mountains with limited means. The TENACITY and never taking a NO attitude makes UNITY a SUCCESS!
UNITY exemplifies compassion when planning, executing and delivering a wish. UNITY has become very efficient and skillful in providing wishes otherwise unattainable by our wish recipients alone.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Our strategy: NEVER take no for an answer.
UNITY does not get a second chance. UNITY does not have to opportunity to perform a DO-OVER, therefore when UNITY plans a wish UNITY is very detail oriented to make sure every wish is planned and executed with precision.
UNITY makes sure the wish recipient needs are met. Each wish recipient has different needs. UNITY when planning a wish takes into consideration each need and plans a wish according to the recipients individual needs.
Bobbi and I get to know each and every wish recipient and when the wish is completed we are always available to support, counsel when needed.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
The Wish coordinator has a PASSION to make a difference in our wish recipients and their families and loved ones lives. Bobbi takes every wish to heart as if she was planning for herself.
The old adage "treat people the way you want to be treated" Bobbi does so with respect, confidentiality, love and compassion.
UNITY is relentless, UNITY does not give up....it may take weeks and 100 phone calls, but for our wish recipients there is no acceptable word like NO!
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
UNITY's greatest accomplishment has been, granting wishes for 11 1/2 years. UNITY has a small group of dedicated and passionate volunteers who truly wish to make a difference in peoples lives.
UNITY gives back to the residents of the surrounding communities.
What UNITY has fallen short on is soliciting the donations of corporations and/or donors as well as falling short on marketing.
UNITY could use YOUR help with this mission. I invite YOU to share your expertise and passion to "Change lives, 1 wish at a time..." come join our team!
