Our programs

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

The Bridge

The Bridge Learning Center, also known as The Bridge, serves as a community resource and service to students with language based learning differences, such as dyslexia, who have needs for specific academic and school-related support in order to overcome their learning challenges as well as a support program of Haywood Christian Academy.

Students with dyslexia, a brain-based processing difference, may have difficulty with one or more specific language skills, particularly reading. Other affected areas may include spelling, oral and written expression, listening comprehension, and math. Without appropriate instruction, the learning differences can limit a child's ability to reach his or her full potential.

The mission of The Bridge Learning Center is to provide customized multi-sensory instruction to students with language-based learning differences, empowering them for lifelong success.
