Our programs

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Katrina

Following Hurricane Katrina we relocated over 100 families = 500 people into fully furnished individual homes. We provided cooking and household needs such as sheets, blankets, pillows, school supplies, food, clothes and vehicles to those with a license.
Over 10,000 miles were driven in eight (8) weeks retrieving those in shelters who wanted to relocate to Colorado.
Sponsors were assigned to each family to assist with banking, employment, transportation, medical, mountains of paperwork and HUG needs.
As other family branches were found some came to Colorado to join their family, others left to join their families in other locations.
At this date some families are still in Colorado and taking advantage of a new way of life.

The FLUKER family remained; has a Musical Ministry, she has completed her CNA and hopes to get a nursing degree. Two of their three boys are into school sports. Mickie has Cerebral Palsy and is the love of everyone he smiles at.

Population(s) Served

As described each division has has their passion; each division is non stop assisting families in need. When needed other divisions jump in to assist large disasters with funding, supplies and volunteers.

Goals & Strategy

Learn about the organization's key goals, strategies, capabilities, and progress.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our GOAL is to continue to assist those in need following a disaster.
With better funding we can only do more - HELP US HELP OTHERS.

Our Strategy is to continue doing what we have been doing - working smart with our hearts, seeing over time - others are seeing what we can do and want to join us.

Some people think if you don't have "paid" staff your not for real - we are ALL paid - we just can't take it to the bank.

We are not bogged down in paperwork and red tape - we get the job done... BUT we do need funds to do it with.

Thank you for taking the time to review our organization.

We ask what are we not capable of doing with the team we have??? NOTHING!

Funding is our only bump in the road and you could maybe assist in solving that bump.

We have accomplished everything we have set out to accomplish to date - except receive our first million dollar donation, but we are still hoping it will come.

We have grown a team beyond what was ever thought would happen. We have grown slow and steady.

However, we ALL know we are just the tools - We have a Higher Power who is in charge.
