Educating impoverished children of India to be Leaders in the Digital age
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
The urgent need for advanced computer skills in today's workforce has become undeniable. India has turned into a hub for many global tech companies including Cisco, HP, Dell, TCS, Infosys, Viacom, Oracle. Indian IT is among top destinations for software outsourcing, serving not just local clients, but reaching out worldwide. We shifted our focus to educating our impoverished children to become leaders in the digital age. We provide free cutting-edge technology training that sets our students apart from others. However, after graduation, our students lack access to well-paying jobs available in the tech sector because they don’t have experience or the connection necessary. Therefore, we need to provide a platform that our students can gain employment and experience. To address this need, we are in the process of buying land and building a 5-story office to house our high-tech consulting services company. Our Tech Business Center will provide the opportunity they need to succeed.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our vision is to educate the impoverished children of India to be leaders in the digital age. We are training them rigorously in computer science from Kindergarten. Before graduation our students will begin to intern in this company to learn the necessary skills to become full-time employees.
Our Tech Business Center will provide the opportunity they need to succeed. They will gain practical experience that can open the doors to being hired in the large tech firms in India; or they can choose to remain with us and help future generations of impoverished children.
Our goal is to build a profitable consulting and engineering firm. This company will be a custom software development house, offering a wide range of technology consulting and development services, such as Scala, Python, Java and Java Script, mobile apps and full-stack web design and services. We will work with a range of companies in finance, IT, health-care, e-commerce, and gaming industries to provide strategy and product engineering solutions.
Upon graduation, our students can go to college to continue their education or join our company and start working immediately.
Net profits from this non-profit company will be redirected back to the Mother Miracle Trust to be used for the Mother Miracle School operations and future expansions. This will ensure that future generations of impoverished children also have the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Our students are currently being trained in computer science from Kindergarten. They spend 5 hours a week in the computer lab with an integrated High-Tech curriculum that includes theory and practice. They learn basic computer skills, MS Office, web-design and development, digital arts and science (photo and video creation and editing, marketing asset creation, including logo design, and latest programming languages. They are introduced to various technologies and in 8th grade they choose a particular track that will immerse them in their area of choice and provide in-depth expertise.
The current 5 tracks are as follows:
1. Python Programmer/Coder
2. Java Programmer/Coder
3. Digital Arts, Graphic Design and Illustration
4. Business Support and Administrative Services/Executive Assistant
5. Web Design and Development
We will have additional tracks in the future including Network Adminitrator, Project Management and Sales Force training. Once the company has begun operations, our students will intern in their 11th and 12th grades. After graduation our students will receive soft-skills training including office protocols and learn how to work with western companies
In addition, they will learn resume building, salary negotiations, interview, problem resolution, team building skills for 6 months as they continue their internship in the company.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
In summary, the Consulting Industry in India is growing at fast pace and soaring new heights all across the world. This is the perfect time, to exploit the tremendous potential available for growth of consulting market.
We, at Mother Miracle are well poised to take advantage of this growth in the market. We are known for the quality of our education, commitment to excellence, integrity, and innovation. Our Tech Business Center will differentiate itself by embracing innovation, nurturing young talent in our well-established Computer Science Department, improving, and enhancing the quality of consulting services available in India. We will focus on small to medium size companies to begin with and expand in the future.
Furthermore, because we are also a nonprofit organization in the USA, we have access to the market in USA and the Tech Industry. We already have well-established relationships in the Silicon Valley through our volunteers and sponsors. Therefore, we can cultivate relationships and obtain projects much easier than other Indian companies.
Land
While leasing the office space requires less cash up front and the lease payments can be recorded as an expense, it is a risky endeavor in India. Lease agreements, no matter how carefully drafted are broken by unscrupulous landlords without much notice and legal ramifications. If by chance we have such landlord, we cannot risk the operation of the business and get involved in the court system to resolve the disagreement. It will cost us tremendously endangers the reputation of our business.
In addition, property prices are rapidly escalating in India. During 2020, Colliers projects inflows of USD6.5 billion (INR46,170 crore) into the real estate sector driven mainly by huge demand for commercial office assets from IT firms, according to global property consultant Colliers. Therefore, the return on investment (ROI) is quite high.
For these two reasons we have decided to purchase land and build according to our needs.
Currently, we are searching for land near the Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun which is 30 minutes from Rishikesh. This location allows easy travel for salespeople and guests to the company.
We are looking at 18150 square feet plots that would provide sufficient space for managing the business and allows room for expansion.
Building
We need 28000 SQFT office space. We will build a 5-story structure which will hold 4 stories of business offices and an underground parking garage.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
we are planning to start our fundraising in 2021 found the land location near Dehradune airport 20 minutes drive to Rishikesh. we found the Architect and he provided us with site plans and 3D of the building design. We have found the builder and got the building estimate.

When the Covid pandemic hit India in March 2020 the country was ordered into strict lockdown. Schools remained closed from April 2020 to November 2020. Mother Miracle quickly responded to the changing needs of our students and community. Our first concern was for the safety and wellbeing of community members. Because Mother Miracle is invested in both the academic and personal needs of our students, we knew we must help our families survive through times of unemployment. Our families live in poverty and needed food to sustain them. For ten months our 2500 staff, students and families were provided staples of rice and dal, food that was collected and distributed by volunteer students and graduates. Food costs were USD $184,000 for 250,000 meals.
