Xenophobia, Islamophobia, institutionalized barriers, and the dissemination of misinformation have been used as tools to marginalize Muslim communities from participating in the democratic process. At Emgage, we work to empower Muslim Americans through voter initiatives, policy research, and leadership development to foster a community of motivated and impactful citizens.

Emerging Leaders

The Emerging Leaders program cultivates the next generation of Muslim American civic leaders through expert-led training and hands-on organizing. The program operates annually in Emgage’s state chapters and blends classroom learning with real-world political experience.

The Muslim Civic Table strengthens and connects the Muslim communities leading non-profit organizations, community advocates, and leaders. Our state tables work together to advance equality, justice, and opportunity and strive to engage, educate, and activate our communities in the democratic process.

The Million Muslim Votes (MMV) campaign’s mission was to mobilize a historic number of Muslim American voters in the 2020 presidential election. Through an extensive network of state chapters and partners, MMV helped organize and empower communities across multiple states, successfully turning out over one million Muslim voters in 2020.
