Placing adoptable horses in suitable homes
Youth Education/Summer Camp
Summer camp for children of all ages to learn about horses, the need for rescue of horses, how to care for horses. Also education on environment, agriculture, and how to be better stewards of our world.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Designate new Board Members with volunteers who are well suited to the daily operations they are assigned. Organize monthly fundraisers to build community awareness and raise much needed funds. Establish and on-line presence in order to communicate the happenings and changes as wells as inspire interest in volunteering at our rescue using popular online social media sites. Create a more user friendly website so our followers can get more information that what is provided on social media sites. Establish a grant writing process.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Aligning volunteers with their individual strengths to match our goals. Communicating and brain storming with monthly meetings. Asking for outside help or ideas that may help to meet our goals.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We have a large volunteer base of people who believe in our mission statement and are passionate about the horses and seeing the rescue succeed in its mission.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Our new board members are in place as well as committees established to focus on specific goals. This includes fundraising, social media, and volunteer committees.
