What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Support of the Deployed troops
Support is provided through fund raising and volunteers that pack and send packages to the Deployed Marines containing items that they are unable to receive through the normal military channels
Support the Wounded Warrior Battalion West
provide summer and winter programs designed for the rehabilitation of disabled servicepeople
Baby Showers for Marine Wives
Baby showers providing gifts and baby care items for the wives of the Marines and Navy Corpsmen
Adopt a Marine Family
Provides for the "adoption" of a Marine family while the Marine or Corpsman is deployed, supports both the servicemember with care packages and support for the family members that are left in the CA area
Monuments for the Fifth Marine Memorial Park
Provide funding and a conduit for funding the monuments erected in the Fifth Marine Park, honoring the sacrifice of the members of the Regiment.
Support and outreach
Various activities in support of the Marines Navy Corpsmen and their families including Thanksgiving and Christmas parties, supporting Deployment and arrival activities, and other family functions during the year when the Regiment is deployed
Base Projects
provide support for projects approved by the Marines or Department of the Navy to upgrade the existing facilities on base, Thes have included the Dojo, an exercise ans training area, and the Father Capidano Chapel an existing structure dedicated to a Medal Of Honor winning Navy Chaplain
Civic Activities in Dana Point
Provide Visibility to the Citizens of Dana Point by supporting city events including the Festival of Whales parade, Summer Concert Series, Grand Prix of bicycling and other civic activities, The Marines volunteer to assist us with these activities, providing the community the opportunity to interface with the Marines in a non Military setting
Wounded Warrior Trials
A Bi Yearly event held alternately on each coast at Camps Lejeune and Pendleton, we provide volunteer support for the various sports activities for the disabled Marines competing in multiple events, in addition we provide a lunch and refreshment stop at the events we support
