Beach Exploration - STEP

In partnership with the Snohomish Teen Evening Program with Denny Juvenile Justice Center, OYC provides youth participants with opportunities to explore the beach and connect with nature. Youth will discover spend the afternoon discovering something new on/at the beach, have a better understanding of tides, and learn about job opportunities that relate to the shoreline.

Expand the Board with an emphasis on diversity
Engage more youth by growing existing programs
Resume scholarship program now that covid is less an obstacle
Migrate our website to a more manageable platform

Further develop Outdoor Adventures Club, training additional outdoor educators and possibly opening another chapter. Partner with The Pond Beyond, enhancing the outdoor education component of their programs.

We have adequate financial reserves to meet our scholarship and program goals.
Our source of volunteers has been revitalized by improved relations with the Everett Mountaineers
Outdoor Adventures Club is firmly established, has access to a van (for transporting youth) and primed for expansion

We've recruited an new Treasurer with Mountaineer roots
Outdoor Adventures club is fully schedule through the end of the school year
Website upgrade is funded and in the planning stages
