The Great Kindness Challenge
The Great Kindness Challenge is a positive and proactive bullying prevention initiative that improves school climate and increases student engagement. This weeklong initiative takes place the last week of January with students using our provided kindness checklist to perform as many kind deeds as possible. Schools enhance the week with numerous activities found in our provided toolkit. These activities include kick-off assemblies, the power of kindness essay contests, spirit days, school-wide incentives, and community involvement strategies, etc. The Great Kindness Challenge is provided to all schools at NO COST. We rely on corporate and individual donations to fund this positively powerful initiative.
The Peace Pledge Program
The Peace Pledge Program empowers kids to put the words of the Peace Pledge into action in ways that are personally meaningful and culturally relevant.

Goals & Strategy
Learn about the organization's key goals, strategies, capabilities, and progress.
Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our 2021-2 Goals:
1. We will engage at least 20 million students during the Great Kindness Challenge .
2. We will strengthen our chapter leader support.
3. We will provide 10% more youth in under-served communities the opportunity to participate in Kids for Peace programs.
4. We will raise funds to support our infrastructure and growing staff.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Our Strategies to Achieve Each Goal:
1. We will work with our Great Kindness Challenge Team (made of educators, parents, community leaders and students) and volunteer team to target each state from both a "bottom up" and "top down" approach. Additionally, we will secure sponsorships to financially support our outreach efforts.
2. We will update our Leaders' Training Manual and host an international chapter leaders training.
3. We will work with targeted school districts to identify under-served youth. We will then provide volunteer chapter leaders to oversee program implementation.
4. In partnership with our Board of Directors, we will actively pursue a well-balanced resource development plan.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Our Capabilities:
Under the direction of our co-founder and executive director, we are able to fulfill our peaceful mission and impact our world on many levels. Working closely with our board of directors, advisory council, staff, chapter leaders, interns, volunteer team, community supporters and educational partners, we methodically tackle each goal. We have grown organically from one neighborhood "club" to a network of interconnected global chapters. Always remembering to "keep it simple and meaningful," we sustain strategic growth that is changing our world.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Progress on Our Goals:
1. We accomplished our full goal in January 2021.
2. Planning for the virtual Chapter Leaders Training has begun..
3. We have five of our ten new chapters targeted and the training has begun.
4. Our 2022 sponsorship package has been created and outreach has begun.
