Support Microloan Programs for Entrepreneurs

Mercy Foundation is a non profit organization that works with charitable organizations to help distribute micro finance loans to poor individuals across the globe. By obtaining tax deductible charitable donations through the acquisition of underutilized real estate utilizing a Bargain Sale Transaction, Mercy Foundation helps facilitate safe, quality financial assistance to those who need it most.

We believe in giving people a hand up instead of a hand out, which is why we support giving impoverished people across six continents the microloans they need to start or expand a business or go to school if needed. We assess each loan request for its potential to make a direct impact on their family and community. We have seen by the thousands that we have helped what an enormous impact these loans have on the life of the borrower, their family and their community.

WHAT IS A MICRO FINANCE LOAN?

Mercy Foundation supports microloans that are a socially responsible investment for both lenders and borrowers. They give people who otherwise do not have access to safe, affordable funds control over their lives and the means to pay back the micro loan they have borrowed. Our loans protect disadvantaged people from high interest microfinance organizations that do not offer realistic payback facilities. The microfinance loans we support have a 99% payback rate, which means we can continue to use the charitable donations again and again to help people help themselves.

Students and entrepreneurs who receive a microloan see a solution to poverty as they are given the tools needed to alleviate their own poverty, and become useful, contributing members of their community. Whether it’s a crop farmer in Georgia who is able to double his grain production and send his children to college, or a trainee midwife in Uganda who can safely deliver babies in her community, we promote a high impact approach to sustainable investing.
