Safeguarding God's Word
The Tree of Life Version (TLV) is a brand-new, fully vetted translation of the Bible commissioned by the Messianic Jewish Family Bible Society. It is the first time that a group of over 40 Jewish and Christian believing scholars have ever translated the Bible in over 2,000 years. Our goal is to provide this new translation as a resource to the greater believing community so as to provide a bridge uniting the 'Grafted' with the 'Chosen'.
The Tree of Life Version (TLV) is now being published by Baker Publishing Group in partnership with the Messianic Jewish Family Bible Society. To read their press release, click here.
Safeguarding the Tree of Life Version (TLV) is a lifelong commitment. The Messianic Jewish Family Bible Society has goals of translating the TLV into other languages, beginning with Spanish. A team of scholars have been chosen and funds are already being raised so that the MJFB Society can reach a larger segment of the world with the restoration of the Jewish roots of the faith.
The Tree of Life Version (TLV) is available not only in physical form but also on numerous digital platforms as well.
Reaching out with God's Word
We Give Bibles away, primarily to children who cannot purchase a Bible themselves.
Gathering Families around God's Word
The primary mission of the Messianic Jewish Family Bible Society is to gather families around the Word of God. We know that families united in the study of God's Word can impact communities, cities and the world.
The Messianic Jewish Family Bible Society continues to expand their resources to encourage and support families in creating Sacred Spaces for them to connect with God and each other:
Free channels for the TLV Bible - BibleGateway.com, YouVersion, MediaShout, Song Show Plus, Logos, e-Sword, Amazon Kindle, Easy Worship and other electronic Bible outlets provide free access to the Scriptures via computers, phones and other electronic devices.
Social Media Presence - the TLV Verse of the Day continues to gain popularity throughout social media with beautiful graphics and powerful passages. You can follow the MJFB Society and the Tree of Life Version on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube & Pinterest! Tag us in a photo with your TLV and use the hashtag #tlvbible! Add our free TLV widget to your website at www.tlvverseoftheday.com!
#ShabbatLife - Every Friday evening, the Greenberg family joyfully lights the Sabbath candles with prayers and a brief message. Join us as we ignite the centuries old Jewish custom with the understanding that true rest can only be through Yeshua, Jesus, the Light of the World! Watch us at www.tlvbiblesociety.org/shabbatlife
Videos and Blogs - Encouraging messages are produced to help families create that Sacred Space by providing topics of discussion for a family setting.

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
The Tree of Life Bible Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that began in 2008 with the goal of gathering over 60 Messianic Jewish and Christian scholars to create a new Biblical text called the Tree of Life Version - TLV. The Messianic Jewish Family Bible Society has now expanded their mission to:
-Reach out with God's Word
-Safeguard God's Word
-Gather Families Around God's Word
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We make the original language and culture of the Bible, and its salvation message, accessible through translation, art, and teaching.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Since our inception: a hope for a children's Bible became a dream for a family Bible, one translator multiplied into 32 scholars, a $5000 check gave seed to $850,000 in donations, a single translation became a collaborative work, the Greek sentence structure was restored to Hebrew sentence structure, faith turned into a verb instead of a noun, salvation became Yeshua, and peace became shalom.
Only God could have orchestrated this marvelous work. We are humbled that God would again call His people Israel to care and preserve His Holy Scriptures for yet another generation. We are honored to carry on the work of our forefathers and trust fully in God's eternal hope of salvation, Messiah Yeshua.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
The Tree of Life Version (Genesis - Revelation) is now available as a free download from YouVersion.com, BibleGateway, Pocket Bible, eSword, and many others. You can also find our translation on most presentation software packages. We have also created multiple tools for Bible learning such as calendars, starter kits, planners, devotional curriculum, podcasts, audio readings and more! Additionally, we launched the TLV Journey Bible App in 2018 to provide a multimedia platform to facilitate family Bible engagement.
Our goals for the future include an expansion of our bible app to include more content, create new Bible editions, fulfill our mandate to create a Children's Bible, and spark a Bible reading revolution throughout the world. Our hope is to see families return to reading the Bible together!
