What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Through extensive research, and first-hand knowledge, No Limits Academy founders realized that children with complex physical disabilities are typically discounted in academic environments, not given any type of goals, and simply pushed through the school system. As a result, cognitive growth is lessened because there is no connection between the mind and body. In return, no true-life skills are learned and barriers to employment are created.

Our programs

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Language Development Program

We are consistently researching, creating, and implementing the highest forms of technological advancements available for communication and education. This technology assists our non-verbal students to connect to their academics in a way never thought possible. With communication, our students are able to build connections to the world around them which heightens their potential and future.

Population(s) Served
People with disabilities
Children and youth

By use of medically based Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy we utilize positioning techniques for our students within the classroom to increase their academic success. It is proven that children with physical disabilities require neuro-rehab to reconnect the pathways which promotes growth and awareness. The Rehabilitation Program specifically speaks to this need. This fund is for children who do not qualify for or are no longer eligible for insurance.

Population(s) Served
People with physical disabilities
Children and youth

We are creating a curriculum that addresses how to successfully educate children that are non-verbal with physical restrictions due to their disability. This curriculum will focus on educating the most difficult population but will exceed the requirements for gifted students as well.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

At No Limits Academy, we create an educational environment which connects the mind, body and spirit through a tailor-made, multi-disciplinary approach to education, or the No Limits™ Method. Each student is fully immersed into personalized curriculum which includes high tech lesson plans, personalized educational adaptations, and physical modifications. By combining education, neuroscience, and neurological rehabilitation, our methodology is changing how all children with disabilities are empowered within their lives to communicate, learn, and thrive. This allows students greater independence physically and academically and translates into measurable improvement in the student’s daily life and future. Our students are succeeding at higher levels of education, and are flourishing within the workforce, government programs, and college.
Our methodology creates better outcomes and changes the disability rates and employment statuses for our students. We will continue to push boundaries and find new and innovative approaches to educate children on every cognitive level by meeting educational, physical, and emotional needs. We will continue to work within our community to build relationships between medical and educational fields to educate students with complex disabilities.

To increase positive outcomes for students with complex physical disabilities, we have developed the No Limits™ Method. Our method retrains the brain via a medically based, therapeutic and immersive educational environment that aims to develop cognition through muscle stimulation, neuropathway rebuilding and stimulation of the seven senses. Our methodology has proven to increase cognition, communication, and physical abilities. We provide each student high tech lesson plans, personalized educational adaptations, and physical modifications to empower them to conquer their goals.

This is achieved utilizing a team of professionals including experienced and credentialed occupational, speech, and physical therapists, along with highly specialized teachers and assistants who are trained to develop and implement therapeutic and educational goals under the supervision of a Director of Education. We seamlessly collaborate with Ability Plus Therapy, a pediatric neuro-rehabilitation clinic, to provide a therapeutic and medically based educational environment. We implement neuroscience and neurological rehabilitation in all aspects of learning. In addition, all students have access to a plethora of therapeutic equipment, medical professionals, tailored instructional strategies and state-of-the-art technology.

No Limits Academy continues to innovate, educate, and push the boundaries for students with complex physical disabilities. We serve students that are typically forgotten and/or are undeserved within mainstream schools. These students flourish under our care. Many students have learned to communicate verbally or with the help of technology that previously was never believed possible. Many students have taken their first steps via our therapy and neuro-rehabilitation. Students who were said to never achieve any type of formal education are now dual enrolled in high school and college.
We have begun the formal production of the No Limits™ Method, a learning tool for students with special needs that is able to be used on multiple platforms including public and private educational sectors, home school families, and virtual learners in order to increase the reach to more children. Our next steps will be to build our No Limits Research Facility that will continue to change lives on a higher level.
