Early Childhood Policy Advocacy Support

In its 15-year history, the Alliance has become the trusted, 50-state resource on early childhood advocacy and policy expertise for state-level advocates. In order to maximize the impact of these allies in their home states (where local voices are often more powerful than outside influencers), we provide connections, expertise, technical assistance, and targeted investments.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

The Alliance for Early Success' vision is a nation in which every child in every state has what they need in the early years to reach their full potential for a lifetime. We pursue this vision through support of state-level early childhood policy advocacy.

The Alliance's primary goals are:

The creation of a powerful, diverse, and durable constituency for early childhood issues in all 50 states and the District of Columbia

The accelerated expansion of equitable, pro-child/pro-family state government policies and investments.

The Alliance for Early Success has three central strategies for achieving these goals:

Accelerating Advocacy Effectiveness - In all 50 states and the District of Columbia, the Alliance provides numerous resources to state-level policy advocates, including staff consultation, funding, third-party technical assistance and research, and peer-to-peer exchange opportunities.

Elevating Antiracist Priorities - The Alliance supports states' efforts to eliminate racial disparities in early childhood outcomes through thought partnership, resources, and grants focused on equitable policy and practices.

Expanding State Advocacy Communities - Through catalyzing coalitions, as well as through, granting and support of traditionally marginalized advocacy voices, the Alliance is expanding the constituency for early childhood policy at the state level.
