Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Parents of premature babies often feel lost, overwhelmed and alone during their prematurity journey. Our vision is a world where no parent goes through the experience of prematurity alone. Our mission is to inform and guide parents of preemies so that they may confidently navigate the journey of prematurity.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Preemie Parent Care Package Program
Our Preemie Parent Care Package is designed for parents of premature babies – with an emphasis placed on providing information and resources that are most helpful while in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and the exciting and oftentimes, overwhelming experience of transitioning home from the NICU.
Preemie Parent Mentor Program
Our Preemie Parent Mentor Program focuses on providing peer to peer guidance and support to parents throughout their child’s prematurity journey. We have a team of trained parent (and grandparent) volunteers, each of whom has had their own experience with prematurity.
MyPreemie App
Created by experts and parents and designed to inform, comfort, organize, and engage, the MyPreemie app for preemie families promotes parent well-being and engagement in the NICU and beyond.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We provide complimentary care packages, mentor support, educational materials and social engagement to parents of premature babies in the US.
Parents, friends and family and NICU staff access our support through our website.
We proactively focus on supporting NICUs that are in US rural areas or currently have minimal parent support infrastructure.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Refine and redesign the ways parents and the community that supports them access our support services on our website.
Lean in to opportunities to enhance our mentor program
Review our care package shipping supplies and contents and update to ensure we use environmentally friendly materials and avoid products that are not eco-friendly and develop digital care package alternatives
Implement an annual survey designed for parents that received any of our support services in the prior year and begin to track feedback against prior years
