The WAZA ALLIANCE FOR
QUALITY EDUCATION is a 501c(3) public charity, not-for-profit,
non-governmental, non-sectarian organization. The organization is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. The Waza Alliance for Quality Education is dedicated to enhancing the lives of children in the Democratic Republic of the Congo by improving the quality of their education.

Access to a quality education is the key to greatly enhancing the quality of life for children living in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In 2007, the Waza Alliance for Quality Education (Waza) set out on a vision to ensure that quality education is available to every child in sub-Saharan Africa, beginning with the Democratic Republic of the Congo, so that he/she has the opportunity to reach his or her potential.

Waza Teacher Training Program

Waza Alliance for Quality Education provides training workshops and ongoing support to teachers, resulting in improved student learning. This program is currently under pressure because of the political situation in the DRC. We are maintaining contact with schools and teachers in order to resume our seminars when the security situation allows.

Waza Alliance for Quality Education provide scholarships and support for motivated and
intellectually able children who, due to economic disadvantage, would otherwise not complete elementary and secondary school.
