Goals & Strategy

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our Vision:
We believe MS Views and News will be the most comprehensive source of information to enhance the lives of individuals affected by multiple sclerosis.
Our Core Values:
MS Views and News is comprised of a diversified team dedicated to the community of individuals affected by multiple sclerosis.
MS Views and News members and representatives adhere to ethical standards at all times
MS Views and News strive to provide education and empowerment to the community with compassion.
MS Views and News take all possible measures to ensure credibility of information gathered.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Serving minority and underserved populations will continue to be a persistent theme and challenge regardless of what geographical region, is limited access to updated MS information and ability to access needed community resources.
In direct response to this need, MS Views and News has recently expanded its platform to provide virtual educational programs to the MS community free of charge. These factors have direct impacts on the quality of life for this undeserved population.
Another strategy is to provide in-person educational programs to those in rural America.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
2020 update -- MS Views and News was fortunate to have already been providing webinars. With COVID-19, we have been successfully able to turn our Live in-person programs, into Virtual events which have brought vast numbers of participants to our 2,3 and 4 times per month virtual programs. These programs are making a large impact on the many who are learning from the information we are providing with regard to COVID and MS plus multiple sclerosis themes in general. we will continue providing virtual events in addition to our live in-person events well into the future (even after Covid is eradicated )
Our organization is shilled in knowing the needs of the MS patient and caregivers (Care partners). Having a Board of directors and volunteers who are primarily also MS patients allows us the inside track of those who we bring programs and resources. We have a better means of communication. We are designed to bring high quality Multiple Sclerosis educational programs. When each of our programs end, the attendees ask us to return soon, as they had never learned at others' events as they do when they attend our educational, resourceful learning events. Additionally, we video record 90+% of our programs which are then archived on our Youtube learning channel: www.youtube.com/msviewsandnews ...
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
MS Views and News has accomplished the tremendous challenge of reaching so many patients and care partners that never previously had access to multiple sclerosis information and resources.
* Expanding of our team, to provide greater number of programs to more locations in the USA (rural, suburbia and metropolitan)
* Increasing the amount of short learning webinars on our YouTube Channel.
* Adding to staff to provide educational programs and to help obtain sponsorships and education grants
** Using advanced technologies to help to provide information virtually and physically
