What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Survivor Services
This program provides counseling, case management, support groups, activities, and other services to the underage survivors of sex trafficking in our program.
Drop-In Center
The Drop-In Center is a safe and loving environment where the survivors can spend time, eat home-cooked meals, access donated clothing, shoes, toiletries, etc., use computers, do homework, apply for jobs, etc. The location of the Drop-In Center is confidential for the safety of the survivors.
Investigative Services
Our Investigative Services team searches for youth currently involved in sex trafficking situations. By going out on the street late at night, by comparing internet ads for sex to missing posters from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, and by engaging on social media, this team endeavors to find actionable information to pass on to law enforcement officers, who can help in recovery of the survivors and prosecution of the perpetrators.
Survivor Hotline
Our 24-hour national hotline is staffed by survivors of sex trafficking, sexual assault, or domestic violence.
Education & Advocacy
Courtney's House aims to increase awareness of sex trafficking in the community by providing training to anyone who may come in contact with it. In 2014, Courtney's House trained over 2000 people - law enforcement officers, teachers, hotel employees, church groups, social workers, nurses, etc. We believe that an informed populace is much more likely to notice trafficking where it occurs and to report it accurately. In this way, we hope to help to help more survivors get out of and recover from their experience.
