What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
1. To have a holistic trauma center for women who are healing from trauma
2. Trauma training series for therapists
3. TV monthly program on trauma, addiction and recovery with visiting speakers
4 To have workshops, presentations on trauma, recovery, addiction
5. to have a website with information, references, books and articles on trauma, abuse, recovery and addiction, as well as various forms of addiction by therapists and survivors
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
1. to have fundraisers.
2. To have quarterly newsletter with updates about YSTH and for donations.
3. Give presentations, talks, TV series.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Kim Kubal is currently working on her masters degrees as a clinical therapist. She has also experitize in setting up organizations and PR. She is also a survivor herself and knows first hand what a trauma survivor needs, particularly in terms of resources, education, including setting up a holistic trauma center.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
1. We have established a website for resources, education and prevention of trauma and abuse.
2. We teach at a local clean and sober facility for 5years and been voted "best teacher".
3. We distribute a quarterly newsletter online.
4. We are waiting for funding and a house/land for the trauma center
