What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Holiday Food Outreach
The Driven Food Outreach has solidified itself as one of the most anticipated community outreach events in Ohio. Each year, approximately 1,000 families receive a box of food which will last approximately 1 week. To date, more than 700,000 pounds of food has been distributed in Central Ohio.
Motivational Speaking
It’s not easy to secure a college degree, win a college football national championship, or play in the NFL. There are certain sacrifices and disciplines that go along with this type of success. Our very own Roy Hall and Antonio Smith have both experienced the aforementioned levels of success. They travel around the state of Ohio and beyond sharing the “HOW TO” with businesses and companies of all sizes, high school football teams, colleges, school assemblies and churches. Both of these men are versatile enough to share their experiences and wisdom on topics such as leadership, teamwork, handling adversity, and faith just to name a few. You name it and these two former Buckeyes can deliver an impactful, life changing, one of a kind message tailored to your audience.
Boys Leadership Program
We help boys develop communication, social, and leadership skills to establish strong personal boundaries to reach their full potential.
Birthday Bash
The Driven Birthday Bash caters to kids of all ages, specifically those that have been challenged with battling a life threatening illness, or who are a part of a family experiencing extreme financial hardships. Driven and its volunteers provide these children with a memorable, fun and exciting birthday “party” experience. Creating a positive day to remember with family and friends to escape adversity can be a timely antidote. Food and cake, gifts, games, a visit by a former Ohio State Football player, and admission to the host facility are all included. We look forward to celebrating with you!
Wellness Giveaway
In preparation for the summer months, the Driven Foundation distributes over 20,000 wellness/hygiene items to Central Ohio Families. Items include: Deodorant, Body Wash, Bar Soap, Hand Soap, Hand Sanitizer, Tissue, Towels, Portable Fans, Cleaning Products, Bottled Water, and More. Additionally, “adjustments” will be given by Revive Chiropractic. Over 250 families are served annually
Thanksgiving Dinner
Thanksgiving is a time for caring and sharing. It’s a time for giving and serving. It’s a time to capitalize on helping others in a time of need. The Driven Thanksgiving Dinner provides families with a “fine dining” experience as over 40 volunteers serve Thanksgiving dinner and dessert to our guests. Families also receive a “to-go” meal, and participate in a live raffle, all while being entertained by live music from a local group. Our Thanksgiving Dinner is hosted at Moler Elementary School in Columbus, OH.
Backpack Giveback
Each year at the beginning of August the stress levels of many Central Ohio parents begin to rise because of the heavy burden of purchasing school supplies for multiple children. Our Backpack Giveback was designed to help eliminate that burden by offering 400 free backpacks and more than 5,000 school supplies to students.
Coats for Kids
Ohio winters can get very cold to say the least. Witnessing firsthand, children walking to school in the blistering cold wearing long sleeve t-shirts or hooded sweatshirts was heart breaking, but also a huge opportunity for us to make a difference. Every year the Driven Foundation distributes 100 winter coats to Central Ohio youth. T-shirts and small gift items are also given to the kids with their coats. In five years, Driven has provided over 500+ coats to children in need
