Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Beauty for Ashes Reentry
Beauty for Ashes Reentry is a 12+ month reentry program currently available to women incarcerated in the state of Missouri. The program is includes both pre-release and post release services. The program curriculum addresses emotional/spiritual healing of childhood trauma/abuse, cognitive behavioral therapy, job training, Bible study, life skills and reentry support. The members of the program do not have to be Christian, bu they are committed to living in a Christ centered community on the prison grounds and they learn how to live from a Biblical world view.
Oaks of Righteousness
Beauty for Ashes Ministry is proud to offer Oaks of Righteousness to the members of Beauty for Ashes Reentry and to the men incarcerated at Lansing Correction Facility in Kansas. This is an inner healing and discipleship course designed to minister healing to people suffering from various forms of trauma/abuse, oppressive spiritual strongholds, addictions, and/or having difficulty maintaining healthy relationships.
Outreach
Beauty for Ashes Ministry connects with the general prison population through outreach opportunities such as monthly worship services, annual concerts, sports tournaments, leadership conferences and banquets for the inmates and their families.
