What we aim to solve
BCCA is looking to help empower and educate women to prevent and survive breast cancer. By empowering with tools, materials, presentations and educational platforms in addition to program assistance to women battling the disease, BCCA brings together a new level of breast cancer standards to help the individual.

Through of leading education program, we reach out out millions of people across the US teach the integrated wellness message (body, mind and spirit) in the prevention and treatment of breast cancer. The information is built upon through non-invasive cancer research, our wellness pyramid and numerous studies done in the cancer industry. We provide applicable and up to date information for all persons in the breast cancer fight.
Feeling Beautiful Again
Know that breast cancer impacts more than just a woman's body, we've launched a program called "Feeling Beautiful Again" that addresses the psychological side of breast cancer in a new way.
iGoPink Scholarship Program
Our scholarship program assists graduating seniors or current college students from the greater Houston area who come from a household where their primary caregiver went through breast cancer in the prior year
Medical Missions
One of BCCA’s founding principles is the belief that all people are our brothers and sisters. Further, we believe we are called to help those who are in need. Our Medical Mission Partners program brings this principle to life.
In partnership with companies who graciously donate medicines, medical equipment and medical supplies to BCCA, we in turn supply these gifts to select mission hospital partners and medical clinics in developing countries. This gift-in-kind concept is similar to how food banks receive their supplies and serve their clients. These medicines, equipment and supplies are often the ONLY supplies the mission hospitals receive.
In addition to the medicines, BCCA also provides translated educational materials on nutrition, cancer prevention and cancer survival. We strive to help all people impacted by breast cancer. It’s our mission.
iGoPink Medical Financial Assistance
The high cost of breast cancer treatment can make it difficult for patients to pay bills. Patients are faced with more debt than they can afford having not budgeted for the medical fees associated with surviving breast cancer. The Breast Cancer Charities of America’s Medical Treatment Financial Assistance Program is designed for breast cancer patients in Houston or the surrounding area (surrounding area includes a 50-mile radius), going through active treatment. This is a program service provided quarterly to assist and provide relief within our local community.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
The Goals of BCCA constantly focus back on the human needs of breast cancer patients. Ongoing market research with the 450 hospital partners show that patients are requesting for practical items such as:
-"What are easy and affordable cancer fighting recipes I can cook for my family?"
-"Can you show us one centralized resource to help with a plethora of items: (such as but not limited to): assistance for my child to go to college since my medical bills have gone up & we had to dip into her college funds; gas and transportation ("I'm too weak to drive, are there services that take patients or help with gas bills"; what exercises can I be doing when I'm in recovery after a mastectomy?"
-"How can we get our youth to be taught about prevention in a deeper way?"
The list goes on and on. BCCA is committed to finding those answers for every patient that calls. The HUMAN side. It's BCCA's mission.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
At BCCA, work & performance is strategized in three ways:
1) BCCA exists to provide program services to patients going through breast cancer
2) In order to provide those services, funds are needed to do so
3) In order to administer the programs and to raise money for the programs, dedicated personnel are needed to achieve the goals
At the end of the day, BCCA's strategy always turns back to the mission. BCCA provides program services through our PRESS acronym: Prevention, Resources, Education, Support, Survival to millions across the nation.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
The capabilities of the BCCA team are tremendous. The team is filled with passion, compassion, dedication, work-ethic of non-other and a "we won't let patients down" mentality. This exudes to the vast network of volunteers that BCCA relies on on a daily basis to make it come together. Without the volunteers who are willing to stuff the educational folders, or assemble the Feeling Beautiful Again tote bags....to the committees who donate their time to producing fundraising events/making centerpieces and marketing the events, the mission and vision of the foundation wouldn't be possible.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Since inception in 2009, BCCA has surpassed all growth goals---most importantly, by the number of lives they've been able to touch. BCCA remains the leader in Integrated Cancer Care combining body mind and spirit into the 'be well and stay well' message. Annual progress is tracked by the Board of Directors; keeping firm hold of the budgeted allowances needed for further growth vs. current-day-to-day budget analysis to provide for current patients.
