Informed American Leadership

Educational briefs on complex national security issues draw intense interest from decision-makers and the media, sending a demand signal for more access to and analysis from our senior military leaders. VV Foundation works to expand the availability of these briefs and is building a network that is prepared to educate decision-makers and the media on complex topics when lives are on the line and expert analysis is needed most.

Local news plays an outsized role in driving public opinion, and there is sustained value in ensuring Veteran civic leaders in communities are informed and effective national security and foreign policy advocates.
VV Foundation connects local Veteran civic leaders to senior military leaders and policy experts and
materials, including easy-to-digest backgrounders, infographics, and messaging guidance, provide them
with communications training before media appearances, and assist with placing or pitching editorials.
