Goals & Strategy

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our goal is to be the national leader and primary resource for veteran/child and survivor/child relationship rehabilitation.

Our strategy is foundation growth. By hiring additional qualified personnel, we can begin doing outreach in different regions of the country, therefore offering our services to military families closer to where they live. Each employee can host an average of 35-40 military families annually, as well as having the ability to have a direct impact on their local military installation population.

We currently have one employee doing this job covering the entire Rocky Mountain region and the west coast. At this time, we lack the annual funding to expand.

Since 2010, when we changed our mission to focus primarily on military families as opposed to just civilian children, we have hosted over 100 veterans/survivors and their children on private outdoor events. We have also hosted/sponsored and co-sponsored over 2000 military and civilian children on outdoor events. We have hosted these events in 10 different states.
We have accomplished a great deal outside of just outreach. The Healing Road Foundation has managed to:
-grow financially every year, always raising more money than the previous year.
-add a volunteer DOO and CFO
-raise over $40,000 for new equipment
-establish over 30 sponsors within the outdoor industry
-worked with many national organizations such as:
Chris Kyle Frog Foundation, Carry the Load, YHEC Youth Hunter Education Challenge, IHEA International Youth Hunter Education, NRA Whittington Center, Dallas Safari Club, Operation Military Kids and many more.
-we have molded and shaped an effective and life changing outreach program

What haven't we accomplished?
-financial growth and stability
This encompass, quantifies and explains what do we haven't accomplished.
A true professional team of paid employees
An Endowment fund
Higher numbers of families reached
Better marketing tools
Etc..
