Touching Souls International Inc

This project  provides free reconsstructive cleft-lip surgeries for children and adult  living in different parts of Bangladesh. Cleft-lip is a major problem in developing countries like Bangladesh. The people with cleft-lip are unable to eat or speak properly for which they have to face an isolated life filled with pain and shame for not being socially acceptable. By giving free cleft-lip surgeries to the poor, Touching Souls International gives the person a whole new start of life.

Touching Souls international provides artificial limbs to the patients who lost their limbs in accident . In 2009 we provided artificial limbs to 10 desparately needy patients

Touching Souls International's self reliant project is intended for the very poor or widow or aged and self-respected person to be on their own feet by giving them
small cottage industry
small shop in their own house, who are disabled, making shelves around the room
giving sewing machine, who knows the operation
giving rickshaws for the only male earning member
distributing cows, goats, chickens to the widow
giving money to the ferywala, who goes house to house to sell different kind of merchandise in the village

Touching Souls International provides education to economically disadvantaged people in arsenic poisoning in water, how to prevent, how to purify water from  arsenic and attainable treatment plan for people poisoned with arsenic by giving lectures, leaflets and CDs in schools, colleges, market places and in social gathering places of different districts of Bangladesh. Hand pumps have been promoted by aid agencies and government for more than 20 years. World has helped Bangladesh to solve its problem of diseased water, where many people used to die from water-borne diseases. But evidence shows that the water from most of these hand pumps are contaminated with very high level of arsenic and more than seventy million people of Bangladesh are at very high risk of arsenic poisoning, many of them are having skin cancer. Our goal is to educate people living in rural area thoroughly about arsenic poisoning, so they can change their fate from arsenic poisoning.
